At CTM Messagerie, the parcel service of the CTM coach company, a parcel isn't priced by the kilo: it follows a grid of weight bands, different for each route and for each direction. On 26 October 2026, its calculator asked, collected at the agency, 59 DH for 2 kg and 62 DH for 5 kg on most routes, 77 DH for 10 kg, 106 DH for 20 kg and 136 DH for 30 kg on a typical route, taxes included. Divided by the weight, the kilo goes from 29.5 DH at 2 kg to 12.4 DH at 5 kg, then 5.3 DH at 20 kg. That day we read all 324 routes between 18 cities, at seven weights: here is the table, the price per kilo, the cheapest and dearest routes, what home delivery costs, and when CTM is the right choice.

01A CTM parcel's price by weight
On 26 October 2026, we asked CTM Messagerie's calculator the price of every route between 18 cities, at 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 kg, collected at the agency and delivered to the door: 4,536 prices including taxes. It gave a price for 252 routes; to Fez, Meknes, Tetouan and Laâyoune it answered 0 DH (see below). Prices in DH, rounded to the dirham:

The typical price is the one in the middle: half of the 252 routes pay that much or less. At 3 kg and at 5 kg, every route costs the same. For a weight we didn't read, 4 kg or 6 to 9 kg for example, check the price on the calculator before you send.
From 2 to 5 kg, 184 routes out of 252 cost 57 to 62 DH at the agency. The other 68 are mostly long routes: leaving Dakhla and Laâyoune or going to Dakhla, and between the north or east (Tangier, Tetouan, Fez, Meknes, Oujda, Nador) and the south (Agadir, Ouarzazate, Essaouira, Safi, Marrakech), at 70 to 125 DH.

02The price per kilo at CTM
CTM Messagerie doesn't sell the kilo: it sells a parcel, at a price per weight band. Divided by the weight, a typical route's agency price gives this:

The first kilos cost the most: a 20 kg parcel costs 106 DH, less than twice the price of a 2 kg parcel (59 DH) for ten times the weight. On a typical route, one 10 kg parcel (77 DH) costs less than two 5 kg parcels (2 × 62 = 124 DH).
03The direction changes the price
At CTM, going from one city to another doesn't always cost the same as coming back. Up to 5 kg the gap stays small; from 10 kg it widens, above all leaving Casablanca. Prices in DH, at the agency:

Of the 91 pairs of cities where CTM gives a price both ways, 56 had two different prices at 10 kg. And from 10 kg, Casablanca is the dearest departure of the big cities: the typical 10 kg price leaving Casablanca is 94.71 DH, against 70.78 DH leaving Rabat or Marrakech. Even within the city: 10 kg within Casablanca costs 86.33 DH, within Rabat 66.03 DH.

At the agency, on 26 October 2026:

The same route the other way, from Dakhla to El Jadida, cost 253.19 DH for 30 kg.
To Fez, Meknes, Tetouan and Laâyoune, the calculator answered 0 DH, from every city and at every weight: that is its answer, not free shipping. For these cities, ask for the price at the counter. Leaving these four cities, it does give a price.
05Agency pickup or home delivery?

06A parcel or a bag?
CTM's "kilo of luggage" is another service: the traveller's, for someone taking the coach, and its price is asked at the CTM counter. A parcel sent without travelling goes through CTM Messagerie, at the prices above.
07CTM, Amana or Cash Plus?
On the 252 routes where CTM gives a price, on 26 October 2026 (agency pickup):
- Under 2 kgno price at CTM. That leaves Amana (36 to 66 DH for 1 kg depending on the arrival city) and Tawssil.
- 2 to 5 kgCTM is the cheapest on no route. Tawssil's grid on cashplus.ma is cheaper on every route, and Amana on 170 routes at 2 kg and 203 at 5 kg.
- 10 and 15 kgCTM was the cheapest of the three on 7 routes at 10 kg, and 25 at 15 kg.
- 20 kgCTM is cheaper than Amana on 171 routes, but Tawssil's grid on cashplus.ma stays the cheapest everywhere except 7 routes, where CTM wins.
- 30 kgTawssil's grid stops at 20 kg. CTM was cheaper than Amana on 67 routes out of 252, Amana on the other 185.

Centre Livraison
With Delivery Center: a courier who comes to your door
On Delivery Center, you don't drop your parcel at an agency: you post it (the city and neighbourhood of pickup and drop-off, the size, 1.5 kg minimum, and if needed the cash to collect), and independent couriers and delivery companies offer you their price and vehicle. You pick an offer, or none. The courier collects the parcel from your door, and the cash collected comes back to you hand to hand. There's no rate card and no commission.
