4ways to send a parcel inside Morocco

Collected from your door

To send a parcel inside Morocco, you have four ways to do it: drop it at the post office (Amana), at a CTM Messagerie agency, at a Cash Plus agency (its parcel service is called Tawssil), or hand it to a courier who comes to collect it from your door. They differ on where you hand the parcel over, how long it takes, what weight they accept, cash on delivery and price: from 45 to 81.25 DH for a 5 kg parcel from Casablanca to Marrakech, at the prices read on 21 October 2026. Here's how each one works, and how to send your parcel step by step.

Prices including taxes and times read on 21 October 2026 on each carrier's own site. Weight limits matter: 31 kg at most at Amana, and Tawssil's price grid stops at 20 kg.

02Sending a parcel, step by step

  1. Weigh and measure the parcel. Weight and size set the price and the option: each network has its own weight limit.
  2. Pack it for the trip: a sturdy box, padding so nothing moves, fragile items wrapped one by one.
  3. Write the full address: the recipient's name and number, their city, neighbourhood and a landmark, and your own number.
  4. Pick the option by destination, speed, weight and cash on delivery (the table above).
  5. Hand the parcel over: at an agency counter, or to the courier who comes to collect it.
  6. Keep proof: the receipt or tracking number, and photos of the sealed parcel.

Watch out with small parcels: CTM Messagerie asks for a parcel over 1 kg and gives no price under 2 kg, Tawssil's grid starts at 1 kg, and Delivery Center at 1.5 kg. Under 1 kg, the post office (Amana) is the option: 56 DH up to 1 kg from Casablanca to Marrakech according to its simulator.

03The post office: Amana

Amana is Barid Al-Maghrib's parcel service. You drop the parcel at an Amana agency or an Al Barid Bank agency, and it's delivered to the door, with two delivery attempts. Amana takes parcels up to 31 kg and announces 24-hour delivery across 80% of the country.

On 21 October 2026, its simulator showed, taxes included, 56 DH up to 1 kg and 59 DH up to 5 kg from Casablanca to Marrakech, and 55 and 58 DH within Casablanca. Cash on delivery costs 12 DH more, and Amana says it pays the cash back the same day through Al Barid Bank. The PDF price grid still online, starting at 46 DH, dates from 2019: trust the simulator.

04CTM Messagerie

CTM Messagerie announces 120 pickup and delivery points, pickup from your door, delivery to an agency or to the door, and paying the cash back on cash-on-delivery parcels. Its online calculator prices by city, weight and declared value.

On 21 October 2026, it showed 58.77 DH for 2 kg from Casablanca to Marrakech collected at the agency, and 78.15 DH delivered to the door, taxes included, with the first possible delivery two days after drop-off. It gives no price under 2 kg, and its terms of sale ask for a parcel over 1 kg. Handy when your city and the recipient's each have a CTM agency.

05Cash Plus: the Tawssil service

Cash Plus, the money-transfer network, sells parcel delivery under the name Tawssil. You drop the parcel at a Cash Plus agency that offers the service (Cash Plus speaks of "several agencies": check yours), from 8:30 am to 8 pm, six days a week. It's weighed there, then delivered to the door or to a Cash Plus agency, in 24 to 48 hours depending on the destination. Its price grid stops at 20 kg.

On 21 October 2026, its two official pages didn't show the same price for 1 to 5 kg: 28 DH within a city and 50 DH to another city on tawssil.ma, 20 DH and 45 DH on cashplus.ma's Tawssil page, taxes included on both. Ask for the price at the counter before you pay.

06A courier who comes to your door

No agency to find, no queue: a courier collects the parcel at your door and hands it to the recipient in person. That's home pickup, and it's the most flexible option when:

  • the parcel is bulky, with a car or a van;
  • it's urgent: a courier leaving today can deliver the same day, within the city or on a trip they're already making;
  • the recipient pays on delivery and you want your cash hand to hand;
  • there's no agency near you, or none open when you're free.

The price isn't a grid: it's what the courier offers for that trip, and a courier already making the journey can offer less.

07What you can't send

Each network publishes a list of what it refuses: read it before you send. On Delivery Center, you confirm for every parcel that it holds nothing forbidden: drugs, weapons, cash, gold and jewellery, official documents, live animals, anything flammable or hazardous, and anything else the law forbids.

Sending a parcel with Delivery Center

On Delivery Center, you post your parcel: the city and neighbourhood of pickup and drop-off, the size (1.5 kg minimum) and, if needed, the cash to collect. Independent couriers and delivery companies offer you their price and vehicle (motorbike, car or van), and you pick an offer, or none. The courier collects the parcel from your door, your recipient gives them the delivery code at the door, and the cash collected comes back to you hand to hand. There's no rate card and no commission, and the service covers 151 cities, from Tangier to Dakhla.
