To sell for free in Morocco, three doors open without paying anything: Avito for classified ads, Facebook Marketplace for buyers in your city, and Maroc Hub for a shop that takes orders with no commission. Jumia brings a national audience and handles delivery, for a commission of 6 to 20%. A shop under your own name costs a subscription. Here is the comparison, with prices read on the sites' own pages on 25 September 2026, and how to choose depending on what you sell.

01Four families of sites

  • Classifieds sites (Avito, Facebook Marketplace): you list, the buyer contacts you, you agree between you. Free and huge, but everything goes through you.
  • Marketplaces that take orders (Jumia, Maroc Hub): the buyer orders on the site, with an address. The site sets its rules, and sometimes a commission.
  • Your own online shop (YouCan, Shopify, Storeino, Lightfunnels): your name and your pages for a subscription; bringing in visitors is your job.
  • Social media (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok): the free storefront of most Moroccan shops. Instagram's and Facebook's built-in shops are not offered in Morocco, so orders stay as messages. Our guide to Instagram and WhatsApp shop delivery explains how to handle them.

03Commissions at a glance

  • Jumia · health and beauty15%
  • Jumia · phones, computers, TVs6%
  • Maroc Hub · all categories0%

On a 250 DH dress, a 17% commission is 42.50 DH: weigh it against your margin and against what Jumia does for you, delivery and cash collection included. Our guide to starting e-commerce in Morocco shows what a sale really leaves you with, line by line.

04The audience: Avito far ahead

With more than a million listings, Avito is the country's first classifieds site: according to the Semrush tool, avito.ma received about 5 million visits in August 2026. That is a strength and a limit: your listing joins hundreds of others there. Facebook Marketplace, for its part, mostly shows your listing to buyers near you.

Newer marketplaces have smaller audiences and make up for it in other ways: ready-made orders, no commission, or delivery. Choose according to what you sell, not only the number of visitors.

05How to choose, depending on what you sell

  • A second-hand item, a one-off pieceAvito or Facebook Marketplace. Free, fast, and the audience is already there.
  • Several new products to testa free shop on Maroc Hub that takes orders with no commission, alongside your Avito listing or your social accounts.
  • Volume, without handling deliveryJumia, if its commission fits your margin and you can provide the documents it asks for.
  • A brand, loyal customers, an ad budgetyour own shop, with YouCan, Shopify, Storeino or Lightfunnels.

Most online shops combine two or three of these channels. What matters is tracking where your orders come from, and how much each one leaves you. And to choose the product itself, read our guide to the best selling products in Morocco.

06Maroc Hub, without the gloss

Maroc Hub (marochub.app) belongs to the same company as Delivery Center. Here is what it offers, and what it does not.

  • What it offers: a free shop; no commission, announced "forever"; buyers who order with their address and pay on delivery; direct contact by WhatsApp, Messenger or in-app messages.
  • Its plans, as read on 25/09/2026: Basic, 0 DH, 5 listings and 5 photos per listing; Pro, 100 DH a month, 100 listings, 10 photos and an assistant that writes the listing in French, English and Arabic; Business, 300 DH a month, 500 listings and 20 photos.
  • What it does not offer: Avito's audience, which is far larger; delivery, which stays your job; and no promise of sales.

On the buyers' side, Maroc Hub also publishes its own ranking of the best e-commerce sites in Morocco.

Delivery Center

And the delivery?

Whichever site made the sale, except Jumia, the parcel still has to be delivered. On Delivery Center, you post it with its pickup, drop-off, size (1.5 kg minimum) and the amount to collect:

  1. Independent couriers in your cities, on a motorbike, in a car or a van, offer their price.
  2. You choose the offer that suits you, or none: no rate card, no commission.
  3. Your customer gives the courier the delivery code you sent them, which confirms the delivery on the spot.
  4. The cash collected comes back to you hand to hand, and you confirm you received it.

08Frequently asked questions

Is Avito free?

Yes to list, within a number of free listings per category counted over 6 months: 50 in most Market categories, 3 in most property and vehicle categories. Paid options push your listing up, such as the 7-day renewal at 59 DH in Market.

What is a good Avito alternative in Morocco?

What commission does Jumia take in Morocco?

Do I need a company to sell on Jumia?

No: Jumia accepts individuals with a national ID card and a tax card, and companies with a trade registration. It charges no monthly subscription and pays its partners every week.
